Banzai did exactly what we wanted!
Our wedding reception took place at The Miners Arms, Eyam, close to the Derbyshire church we had our ceremony in.
The theme of the day was rustic, informal, and celebratory. The Miner's Arms is a lovely country pub with low ceilings, which we decorated with bunting and cans.
We found Banzai through an Internet search for wedding bands. Function Central had a huge variety of acts and we decided to book rock and pop band Banzai.
We chose Banzai because they sounded great, funky and modern. Their being a 3-piece was perfect as they fitted into the limited floorspace at the pub.
Banzai were brilliant. They just got on with it and took the stress away from us. They did exactly what we wanted - music during entrance period, PA for informal speeches, interlude music/DJ service and super modern and funky live music.
Banzai were very professional and friendly, always keeping us quietly informed. They also accommodated a guest spot from a relative on vocals! Brill! Everyone complimented us on our choice of band and the dance floor was always full!
The whole day was so special and memorable. It was wonderful seeing people happy and relaxed and sharing our day.
Our advice to other couples getting married would be to use Function Central! Also to watch out for floor space for the band and dancing.
