The band’s core line up is made up of fiddle, piano, and drums and they can also provide larger line-ups to include other instruments such as accordion, banjo, mandolin or penny whistle.

Allemande come with a friendly and engaging caller (part of the 3-piece band) who can talk your guests through every step in the dance, so every guest can enjoy the dancefloor! Besides their dance repertoire, they can perform Scottish background music between songs, so you can catch your breath.

The band members honed their talents at the Royal Northern College of Music, one of the world's leading conservatoires. Each member maintains a busy freelance career and they have all performed with a variety of artists and leading UK orchestras ranging from indie folk band Belle and Sebastian to singing sensation Andrea Bocelli.
