Mastersound are an energetic band composed of elite up-and-coming musicians from Birmingham’s jazz and soul scene. The band’s line-up – featuring portable grand piano as well as joint male and female vocals – adds a stunning visual element, setting them apart from other function bands. The band effortlessly put their stamp on classic soul and rock'n'roll as well as the latest R&B, pop and dance covers, from Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles to Daft Punk and Cee Lo Green. Their goal is to fill the dancefloor every night!

The band have worked all over the world on cruise ships, at festivals and alongside huge artists like Chaka Khan. They've played at hundreds of weddings, events and clubs over the last few years, so they really have the experience and know-how behind them to make sure your event is a success.

The band's starting line-up is a 4-piece, which can be arranged in various line-ups: male-fronted, female-fronted or even joint male and female lead vocals with piano, drums and bass. They can expand to include more instruments through to a 7-piece band including full brass section, for a huge, layered sound.

Mastersound can cater to a huge range of events of all shapes, sizes and budgets and are fast becoming one of our most desirable wedding bands in the West Midlands.

The band also offer a background music duo (piano/male vocals combined with either a female vocalist or acoustic guitar) or solo option (solo piano/vocals), ideal for smaller settings or during your champagne reception or wedding meal. The band’s talented frontman is also available to book independently of the band as a solo cocktail pianist/vocalist.

The band also offer their own in-house laptop DJ service, offering mixed songs and requests between, during and after their band sets, for a nominal fee. This saves on the additional space, hassle and cost of hiring in a separate DJ and PA system.
