Merrily Kiss was started by a group of friends with a mutual passion for traditional folk and ceilidh music, who have played professionally together for many years.

The band’s line-up features a mixture of guitar, fiddle, bass, whistle, piano and occasionally drums, lending them a bright and uplifting sound.

They primarily perform Irish and Scottish songs, tunes and dances, in styles ranging from a delicate melody to a storming barn dance sound, with excellent singers and trained top-line players.

The band’s caller is knowledgeable and inspiring, and the band bring a marvellous atmosphere to any party or gathering, regardless of the setting: dance hall, garden, living room and ballroom.
