With their roots in street samba and an eye on contemporary Afro-Brazilian drumming, Samba Central present a classic samba performance with traditional drummers.

With visually and sonically stimulating performances, Samba Central will get feet moving and hips shaking! Big bass surdo drums spar with higher-pitched repinique solos – a Brazilian samba experience with a London twist!

Samba Central's drummers have traveled the world many times and have performed for the BBC's 'Dragons' Den' and ITV. Their client list includes Citroen, The Queens Club, Amex and Manchester City.

The group are available to play for big events, small events, weddings, champagne receptions with a variety of line-up options to suit any crowd.

Team-building

The band regularly provide comprehensive interactive sessions for team-building.

The interactive session is normally 45 mins to 1.5 hours and will aim to transform your group into a vibrant samba troupe by the end of the session!

If required, this could be supplemented with a short lecture – a history of samba drumming and a history of the instruments, how the different sections fit together and also on the different types of drumming within Brazil.

Client Brief: We need high energy drumming for an information-intensive conference in Prague.

Delivery: Reception drumming to greet guests and guide them to the conference room from their coffee and breakfast. Drumming “stingers” to introduce each new speaker throughout the day.

Interactive drumming sessions on day 2 to fire up the delegates for each theory session.
