Take Two are a highly skilled & award-winning jazz duo based in London who are guaranteed to lend a sophisticated soundtrack to any event.

Made up of two highly acclaimed and experienced musicians, Take Two have played at countless weddings and private parties, performing for a host of well-known clients such as Elton John and Lord and Lady Sainsbury, as well as for a private party hosting HM The Queen Elizabeth II.

Guitarist Alex graduated from the masters programme at London's Royal Academy of Music with distinction in 2011, where he was awarded the Elton John Scholarship, the Scott Philbrick Jazz Scholarship and the John Baker Memorial Prize.

Since then he has released a debut album to critical acclaim, with glowing reviews in the likes of The Guardian, Guitarist magazine and Jazzwise magazine.

His 24-date album release tour was supported by Arts Council England and included performances at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and Pizza Express Dean Street. He has also performed extensively with the world-renowned CBSO.

Saxophonist Matt released his debut album in 2015 on the Jellymould Jazz label to widespread critical acclaim and airplay on BBC Radio 3, alongside a 13-date UK tour.

Winner of the Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition 2017, he performs regularly across the UK and internationally, with recent appearances in New Zealand and Scandinavia.

Matt also graduated from the jazz course at the Royal Academy of Music with distinction and is a recipient of the George Drexler Foundation Scholarship.
