We were absolutely thrilled with Get Carter. If people don't choose this band for their wedding, they're mad.
Our wedding was held at Blueprint Café, in London's Design Museum.
We chose this venue because it has floor to ceiling windows with great views of the Thames and Tower Bridge.
The look of our wedding was a bit art deco inspired, but mainly Christmassy.
We chose a live band, Get Carter, because their repertoire was huge and they sounded great. We were absolutely thrilled with them. They were so professional from the start. The manager found us a keyboard player at the last minute was really helpful throughout the process. The band were so excellent - everyone has commented on how great they were.
I really think Get Carter made the evening. They were well organised, played all the songs we wanted, learnt a new song for our first dance and were so polite and lovely. Quite easy on the eye as well, which is always a bonus! If people don't choose this band for their wedding, they're mad.
I think my favourite moment was getting married at Chelsea Old Town Hall, followed by dancing like a maniac later on to the band's music!
Our advice to other couples is to book a live band, good one! It is much better to have a band than a DJ. It really makes the occasion and all your guests will comment on how great it was. We decided to book with Function Central because it looked like a very professional organisation and they were really helpful.
