Chris and Anna hired The London Brass Collective to entertain guests at their Christmas wedding at Chenies Manor in Buckinghamshire, and they loved the festive atmosphere the band created!

Our wedding took place at Chenies Manor in Rickmansworth which is a very historical building with plenty of character and a really cosy atmosphere inside.

We were also able to use the house for welcome drinks and to take further photos and enjoy the atmosphere that the house gives.

We wanted to create a warm joyful feel with a touch of Christmas festivity.

We found The London Brass Collective through a search online for classical musicians and thought they looked and sounded fantastic. The band fitted very well with the touch of the Christmas element that we included in our wedding. The brass element was joyful and festive, and they were all dressed smartly and looked very presentable.

The London Brass Collective played during dinner to create a joyful, Christmassy atmosphere. They were all outstanding!!! The music was just what we wanted and was prefect during dinner and had everyone in a great mood.

We also did a sing-a-long version of 12 Days Of Christmas as each table was named after a different day of Christmas. The band were more than happy to adapt to complete this request and it was a good conversation starter for the tables to discuss what they would do when it came to their table's turn to beat the other tables. This lightened the mood after dinner and had everyone raring to hit the dance-floor and the bar obviously.

The two photos above show the moment when table 8 sang "8 Maids A Milking" and the top table sang "A Partridge In A Pear Tree".

The best part of our day was having all of our friends at the church to celebrate our wedding. It was an emotional time even though we had done the rehearsal a few days before – it felt completely different on the day. Me and my best woman were awaiting Anna to enter the church and when she did, with the organ and trumpeter in the background, it made for the perfect entry. She looked absolutely amazing in her dress. When her veil was lifted and we made eye contact, we both knew this was now real and were elated.

Go with what you want and it's the little touches that make a big difference to the day.
