Where did you get married?

We chose Brixton East for our wedding. It's a London venue so conveniently located for all our guests, and it's cool and urban. We wanted it to feel in some ways like a gig on a Saturday night - not too formal but also fun.

Why did you choose to book a live band?

We are into our music and so we know the power of a a live performance. It was between two bands and Masterblaster's song repertoire fitted our likes most - especially some of the 90s/00s stuff. It provided something a bit different.

How did you find Function Central?

Our friend recommended them as he booked his own wedding band from Function Central.

What did you think of the band?

Masterblaster were absolutely fantastic. We were blown away with their sound. All our guests kept complimenting us on the band and a few people asked for their details that night! We loved the way the band kept the party going all night long!!

What advice would you give other couples planning a wedding?

I think spend a lot of time thinking about the kind of wedding you want before seeking out Pinterest or looking in magazines - you can get carried away otherwise and it can be really removed from the day you planned in the first place!
