Royal Groove were phenomenal. Every single one of our guests commented how incredible they were. The vocalists were astounding and the other band members were so professional and talented. We couldn’t have wished for more and I will forever be singing their praises as they made our wedding even more special.

Where did you get married?

We held our wedding in Crowhurst, East Sussex which is where I grew up and lived for most of my life. The service was held at St George’s church and the reception was at the recreation ground where we had a big marquee, hay bales, a homemade pallet bar and lots of home grown flowers. It was perfect!

What were your favourite moments of the day?

Well, of course, walking up the aisle to wed my gorgeous husband but for us, we loved how all of our guests spent time chatting, getting to know each other. It was a day full of love and not just between myself and Rob. Everyone was in the best spirits and made the day so amazing!

What advice would you give other couples planning a wedding?

Always make sure you do your research and read reviews! I didn’t see ONE bad review for Royal Groove so knew I was on to a good thing! Also, don’t stress. Your day will be amazing as long as you’re having a great time.

Why did you choose to book a live band?

My uncle is a professional drummer and I wanted a wedding band that could remind me of listening to him play when I was younger. Royal Groove gave goosebumps! They were incredible. I couldn’t imagine having a day without a live band. There’s something so magical about having talented musicians playing absolute tunes!

How did you find Function Central?

I used google as I was struggling to find a band I absolutely loved! After watching some videos of Royal Groove I knew I had to have them! The booking process was straightforward and any questions I had were answered quickly!
