Amanda & Kevin's Wedding at The Harte & Garter, Windsor | Rockit

Rockit were absolutely amazing... they had all our friends and family dancing till the early hours, catering for all tastes. They are a fantastic band and very talented. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone!

We held our reception at The Harte & Garter in Windsor as we were married in the Guildhall in Windsor followed by an amazing blessing in St George's Chapel, in Windsor Castle. The venue has a fantastic ballroom with a great character and staging and they can cater for 150+ guests - great food, great venue and the bedrooms were amazing.

We didn't really have a theme as such, however we wanted to ensure that it was relaxed, fun and that everybody that had supported us over the years were 'in the room'. We focused on the service as that meant - and still means - everything to us.

What was my favourite moment? All of it!

Following a Google search we came across Function Central. After a phone call to discuss the band, we were really reassured we'd be looked after.

We saw Rockit's promo on YouTube and their website and they ticked all the boxes - not what we would consider a 'typical' but an act you would want to go and see whatever the event.

Choosing a wedding band is stressful as it's so important to ensure the evening goes 'with a bang'. Rockit were absolutely amazing - they had all our friends and family dancing till the early hours, catering for all tastes. They are a fantastic band and very talented and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone!

My advice to other couples is to plan ahead - time flies. It may seem a long way off, but the day creeps up fast! Also, remember that it's your day - the wedding itself is so very special and your guests are there to support you - so put yourselves first. And if something goes wrong, or there's a small mishap, nobody cares - they are there for you. So don't panic too much about the details.

Florist: Luxe Flowers in Eton supplied the amazing flowers and

Cake: Foxy Cakes in Eton created an amazing tiered cake that we designed that was completely devoured!

Venue: The Harte & Garter - A great venue who really helped deliver a great day/ evening and looked after us every step of the way.
