Chloe and Dave's Wedding at Southend Barns | Blue Juice

Blue Juice absolutely tore it up at our wedding at Southend Barns, they were incredible.

We chose Southend Barns near Chichester as it was the most breathtaking barn we had ever seen! The ceremony barn enabled us to create exactly the look and atmosphere we were going for. The staff at the venue and the caterers, Field and Fork were immense - from our first visit to see the venue all the way through to the day after the wedding - when they brought us a breakfast hamper to the honeymoon suite!

We were aiming for, and achieved, a rustic ombre-tastic look and feel to the wedding!

We chose Blue Juice because they gave us something different compared to looking at 50+ wedding bands online who all covered the same songs - these guys really made us sit up and take note as they covered classics as well as incredible versions of songs you don't hear typical wedding bands play!

We were delighted with the band! Great communication beforehand where we were able to talk through all the arrangements, some texts and emails were exchanged with info and songs we really wanted - and some we really didn't want - included on the day and the band took all these details into consideration and accommodated our every request.

Before the wedding the communication was great, on the day they set up without guests noticing, and that was all before they even picked up their instruments!!

What makes them stand out from other bands is their ability to slip from old school rock 'n' roll to memorable modern mashups effortlessly, and to read the dance floor and crowds' mood to pick from an extensive catalogue.

The performance was powerful, friendly & professional - we were gutted they couldn't keep playing til 5am - the dance floor would have still been packed, they were that good!!

Everyone has said how different & how amazing they were - we could not have made a better choice than choosing Blue Juice!! Thank you thank you thank you for blowing everyone away!!

My favourite moment was, of course, marrying Chloe!! Seeing all our friends and family in one place and at the same time to join us in celebrating the amazing day was incredible. Everything went really well (weather included!) and then to top it off we booked the best band we could ever had hoped for!

Function Central was a great tool to have in the bag when it came to organising what can be a make-or-break part of a wedding day. Clear communications throughout, and such a breadth of bands to choose from that we didn't look anywhere else after seeing your site. A great feature for couples on a budget is the ability to sort by price and location.

The more you put into the day, the more you'll get out of it. We planned so many details to ensure the smoothest possible day, and everyone said afterwards how the small details we paid attention to were some of the most memorable.
