We could not have been happier with Rockit!

We chose the Novotel Hotel Stevenage for our wedding reception. The venue is set in a quiet yet accessible part of town. The surrounding area is one of natural beauty, and it was easily accessible for our guests.

We created a black and white theme for our day. We both have an alternative taste and we wanted to represent that. Our venue had a Gothic and dark style to it, which we loved!

We found Function Central through a google search for wedding bands for hire in the East of England. We chose to book with them as we were very impressed with the sample tracks by Rockit and the highly competitive rate.

Rockit performed at our wedding reception. We chose them for their talent and the quality of music in their sample songs. We love live music, and thought of nothing better than a live band for our reception!

We were exceptionally pleased with Rockit. They were very friendly and set up quietly. Rockit masterfully covered a great selection of new and old songs and brought all the guests to their feet to dance and have a great time.

Throughout the night, guests approached us to say how amazing the band was and how good they were playing. Overall, we could not have been happier with Rockit. Everything from their friendliness towards us and the guests, to their excellent music skill.

It is difficult to pick one favourite moment of our day, since it was all so enjoyable. Moments I would choose are catching sight of my bride at the ceremony, seeing our reception for the first time, our first dance and enjoying the band. From the band, it must be the guitar solo during their end song, Sweet Child of Mine. So awesome!

I would advise brides and grooms to plan a long way in advance. If you want something for your wedding, book it as soon as you can so you don't miss out. Also, you may be nervous; I held back tears during my vows and speech. But remember that the day is about making an eternal bond with the love of your life.
