Tania & Joe's Wedding at Falmer Pond | Blue Juice

Thank you Blue Juice, you were amazing!!

The venue we chose was Falmer Pond in Sussex. It's the location of Joe's family home and close to where I went to university, so it's a special place for us. It's also beautiful and nestled at the foot of the South Downs.

We decided on a very relaxed, English summer fair theme with lots of flowers and games. The tug of war was fab!

The Function Central website was great. Easy to use and response times were super fast! We always wanted a live wedding band and chose Blue Juice because of the reviews they'd had. They were all true! Thank you Blue Juice, you were amazing!

Our favourite parts of the day were walking back down the aisle as husband and wife, having the tug of war by the pond, and our soul train music video (the band helped so much with this!).

My advice for other couples? Please don't stress on the day itself. You can't help stressing beforehand. I managed to switch off the Friday evening before the wedding on Saturday, and was able to enjoy every detail of the work we had put in.

Which suppliers did we love? Literally all of them!!! The flowers were amazing in particular, by Sabrina at the Brighton Flower Company and the food too which was Matt at the Party Pigs also based in Sussex.
